個人情報の漏洩について（2023年 6月27日）
弊財団が実施している「利用者に対する情報提供業務」において、保有している一部利用者の個人情報の漏洩が発生しました (発生日時: 2023年5月25日17時頃)。 関係者の皆様にご迷惑をおかけしたこと、漏洩情報の詳細を把握するのに時間を要してしまったことをお詫び申し上げます。
事案は以下の通りです。
・メーリングリストへメール送信の際、個人情報が含まれた本来送るべきでないファイルを添付してメール送信してしまった。
・誤送信メールの総数： 1686件
・漏洩情報（件数）： 氏名（713件）、所属機関名（704件）、利用者ID番号（703件）、利用課題番号（940件）、利用課題名（638件）、国籍（710件）、VISA申請地（1222件）、入国予定日（1216件）、パスポート番号（6件）、電話番号（10件）、Eメールアドレス（4件）、所属機関の住所（14件）
対処として、誤送信先にメール削除を依頼し、漏洩した対象者へお詫びとお知らせを個別にお送りさせていただきました。
このたびは、データの取り扱いと情報提供業務に関して、ルール策定とルールに基づいた業務遂行が不十分であったことが、主な原因であったと考えております。情報提供業務を見直し、職員への教育を徹底し、再発防止に努めてまいります。

Leakage of personal information (Jun 27, 2023)
The personal information of some users held by JASRI was leaked in the "service of providing information to users" (Date and time of occurrence: around 17:00 on May 25, 2023) . We apologize for the inconvenience caused to all concerned and for the time it took to understand the details of the unauthorized disclosure.
We regret the inconvenience caused to everyone involved.
The case is as follows.
・When sending an email to the mailing list, we accidentally sent an email with a file containing personal information that should not have been sent.
・Total number of emails: 1686
・Leaked information (number of cases): name (713), organization name (704), user ID number (703), project number (940), project name (638), nationality (710), VISA application place (1222), planned entry date (1216), passport number (6), phone number (10), email address (4), address of affiliated organization (14)
We already asked the relevant recipients to delete the email. In addition, we sent an apology and notice to those who were affected by the unauthorized disclosure.
This incident was caused by the inadequate formulation of rules and the execution of operations regarding both data handling and information provision procedure. We will review the information provision procedure, thoroughly educate our staff, and promote the prevention of recurrence.
