Overview of Structural Biology Division
The primary missions of the Structural Biology Division are to provide support to the users of public macromolecular crystallography beamlines (BL41XU and BL45XU) and CryoTEM, and to maintain and improve the measurement environments such as those listed below.
・Measurements of high-speed and high-precision X-ray crystal diffraction data
・Crystallography for pursuing structural dynamics of proteins
・Automatic measurements and remote experiments
・CryoEM single particle analysis
・Protein preparation and crystallization experiments
・This division also carries out research on protein structure that will lead to the improvement of the environment of synchrotron radiation experiments.
